BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Five members of the Kennesaw State men's track and field team competed on the opening day of the NCAA East Preliminary Championships on Wednesday at Haugh Track and Field on the campus of Indiana University.
Notable Performances
Courtney Lawrence landed a toss of 18.32m (60'1.25") and
Caleb Hartley added a throw of 17.20m (56'5.25") to finish 19th and 38th in the shot put.
AJ Johnson cleared 5.04m (16'6.5") to finish tied for 27th in the pole vault.
Aaron Goodwin posted a time of 21.31 seconds to secure 39th in the 200m.
Malik Hussie ran a time of 48.10 seconds to finish 42nd in the 400m.
Four members of the KSU women's track and field team will compete on day two of the NCAA East Preliminary Championships on Thursday, May 26. Six men will compete for KSU on Friday, May 27.
