TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – An incredible performance on the final nine at the 2022 NCAA Division I Tallahassee Regional has Kennesaw State women's golf representative
Alizee Vidal in good position after round two action at Seminole Legacy Golf Course.
Vidal carded an even-par score on the middle 18, adding to a tournament scorecard of 5-over 149. She stands tied for 15th, jumping up 24 spots from round one.
On her final nine holes of the event, she posted six birdies and one par.
She sits third among individual participants. The top two individuals from the tournament advance to the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships.
She is tied for fifth in par-5 scoring with a 4.63 average and leads the field with 10 birdies.
THORNE'S THOUGHTS:
"After getting off to a slow start, Alizee caught fire on her back nine," head coach
Erin Thorne said. "She hit solid shots, setting up short birdie putts which she converted. She's in position with a good round tomorrow to earn one of the individual spots to advance to the National Championship."

The final round of the 2022 NCAA Division I Tallahassee Regional tees off Wednesday, May 11 from Seminole Legacy Golf Course.
Vidal is set to begin her round at 8:55 a.m. EST.
