KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field teams continued competition at the Tennessee Relays on Friday at Tom Black Track at LaPorte Stadium.
 
Event Winner

• Sarah Hendrick won the invitational 800m tonight at the Tennessee Relays with a time of 2:04.83.

 
Men's Decathlon (Completed)

• Jordan Fick finished in 16^th place with 6372 points.
• Fick finished eighth in both the pole vault and javelin on Friday.
• Quann Shears secured 17^th place with 6256 points.
• He took sixth in the javelin with a toss of 50.59m (165'11").

Women's Heptathlon (Completed)

• Kywana Donahoo finished 10th with a personal-best total of 4689 points. 
• She finished fifth in the javelin with a personal-best toss of 33.47m (109'9")

 
 
College Events Recap

• Omar Diaz posted a wind-aided time of 10.52 seconds placing fourth in the 100m.
• Tyriq Hussie added a wind-aided time of 21.50 seconds securing sixth in the 200m.
• Malik Hussie (50.50 seconds) and Cameron Johnson (50.52 seconds) took fourth and ninth in the 400m.
• Gavin Frick (14:33.87) and Jack Stansell (14:43.82) secured second and sixth in the 5000m.
• Corbin McLean posted a wind-aided time of 13.47 seconds and Olivia Brown added one of 13.74 seconds to grab fourth and eighth in the 100m hurdles.
• Madigan Wallace posted a time of 11:05.35 to finish second in the 3K steeplechase.
• Nyah Hernandez (16:39.61) and Katie Meyer (16:57.36) secured fifth and seventh in the 5k.

 
 
Invitational Events Recap  

• Omar Diaz clocked a wind-aided time of 21.39 seconds taking fifth in the 200m.
• Sparticus Griffin took home third in the 400m with a time of 49.31 seconds.
• Isaiah Ellis crossed the finish line in 55.21 seconds to grab fourth in the 400m hurdles.
• Courtney Lawrence landed a toss of 18.28m (59'11.75") to grab third in the shot put.
• Tayla Moreland landed a mark of 5.70m (18'8.50") and Jasmine Akins landed a leap of 5.69m (18'8") securing eighth and ninth in the long jump.

 
The Owls will conclude action at the Tennessee Relays on Saturday, April 9.
