ATHENS, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team remains in ninth place after the second round of the ASUN Championship at the UGA Golf Course on Monday.
KSU recorded a 15-over par 299 in round two.
"We had some improvement overall today with solid rounds rounds from Brock, Lucas and Justin," head coach
Bryant Odom said. "Hopefully tomorrow we can get everyone in the mix for our best round of the event."
Brock Healy carded an even-par round of 1-over 72 to pace of the Owls on Tuesday. The senior made four birdies and 10 pars during his round. The senior is 3-under on par 5s and is second on the team with 20 pars through 36 holes. He is tied for 20
th at 5-over par 146.
Lucas Mota and
Justin Kim are tied for 30th at 7-over par 149. Mota posted a 3-over 74 while Kim recorded a 1-over par 72 on Tuesday. Kim was 3-under par over his final 11 holes on Monday.
Takafumi Shimoji (157) is tied for 48
th while
Joseph Byrne (164) is in 57
th.
The Owls will be paired with North Alabama and Eastern Kentucky for the final round on Tuesday, April 26 at 8 a.m.
