TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Kennesaw track and field teams opened competition at the Crimson Tide Invitational and the Georgia Tech Invitational (Atlanta, Ga.).
School Records
- Sarah Hendrick ran a time of 4:15.91 to win the 1500m at the Georgia Tech Invitational. That time is currently 17th in the NCAA this season.
- Kali Terza finished fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 56.68m (185'11") at the Crimson Tide Invitational.
- Gavin Frick posted a time of 14:21.41 to finish second in the 5k at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
Top Performances (Crimson Tide Invitational)
- Zachary Peterson landed a personal-best mark toss of 55.58m (182'4") finishing 16th in the hammer throw.
- Kelvin Campbell jumped 15.10m (49.6.50") to finish second in the triple jump.
Top Performances (Georgia Tech Invitational)
The Owls will finish action at the Crimson Tide Invitational and Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday, April 23.
