Round Two Results | Live Results

FRANKLIN, Tenn. –
The Kennesaw State men's golf team posted its lowest team score of the spring during round two of the Mason Rudolph Invitational at the Vanderbilt Legends Course on Saturday.

"I am really excited about the team effort and overall result today," head coach Bryant Odom said. "We continued to play the par 3s very well (-2) which is phenomenal. Statistically the course played harder today with bunched scores. We tied five teams and beat three. Something we talked about last night was finishing the round strong and our counting scores were 3-under par on the final four holes. Looking forward to the final round and keeping the momentum tomorrow."

The Owls posted a 1-over par total of 285 and are in 15th place at 13-over par 581.

Lucas Mota made 12 pars and three birdies en route to an even-par 71. The junior is tied for 40th at 1-over par 143.  His 27 pars are tied for second-most in the field through 36 holes.

Brock Healy carded a 1-under 70 on Saturday. After a late bogey, Healy closed with four straight pars. He is tied for 47th at 2-over par 144.

Luke Phillips played his final four holes in 3-under par to post an even-par 71. He is tied for 62nd at 5-over par.

Justin Kim recorded a 2-over par 73 and is tied for 67th at 6-over par 148.

Joseph Byrne (160) is in 88th place.

KSU will conclude play at the Mason Rudolph Championship on Sunday, April 2. KSU will be paired with West Virginia and Western Kentucky and tee off from 8:30-9:10 ET.
