VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's golf team plays for its fourth consecutive ASUN Conference championship Sunday at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Course.
Bella Kil,
Cameron Neilson,
Alizee Vidal,
Meva Schmit,
Lara Jecnik and
Caitlyn Campbell-Nyman (substitute) hit the course starting Easter Sunday, Apr. 17.
Kil enters the event after being named to the ASUN All-Conference second team on Friday.
The Black and Gold claimed titles in each of the last three conference events (2017-2018, 2018-2019 and 2021). The 2020 event was canceled due to COVID-19.
KSU looks to become only the second team in ASUN history to win four-straight conference titles (Florida International – 1991 through 1994).
The three-day event concludes Tuesday, Apr. 19 with round three action.
2022 ASUN Women's Golf Championship 11-Team Field
Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, FGCU, Jacksonville, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, North Alabama, North Florida and Stetson round out the field for KSU's competition in the event.
The Owls have competed against 12 ASUN teams in tournaments throughout the season and placed ahead of 11 of them.

Owls on the Podium
The Owls earned victories in two tournaments during the regular season. The first coming at the Rio Verde Invitational, where Campbell-Nyman earned her first individual medalist honor. KSU also won the home tournament Pinetree Women's Collegiate in March. Kil earned her first individual medalist honor as well.
On the Right Footing
Head coach
Erin Thorne started her KSU tenure on the right foot this season, becoming the first head coach in program history to win multiple tournaments in their first year.
