KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's tennis will be on the road for its final two regular season ASUN Conference matches this week. The team is coming off back-to-back wins and will look to finish strong as it heads into the ASUN Championships.
Match 19: Kennesaw State (13-5) at North Alabama (3-17)

Date: Saturday, April 16; 2:00 p.m. (1:00 p.m. CT)

Owls Season Statistics
In singles action, the Owls have a combined record of 62-37. Four different Owls have recorded double digit wins this season including
Sofia Pinedo (11-7),
Ji Youn Lee (11-4),
Kat Muzik (10-5), and
Valentina Taddia (10-7).
In doubles action, KSU has a record of 27-13. The No.1 doubles team of
Taylor Dean/
Kat Muzik has nine victories with three losses. The No. 2 doubles team of
Ji Youn Lee/
Valentina Taddia have a record of 9-4 thus far in the season.
Scouting North Alabama
North Alabama has dropped seven out of its last eight matches. UNA was last defeated by Stetson 0-7 on Apr. 10. The Lions are currently 1-6 in conference play.
Scouting Central Arkansas
Central Arkansas is currently on a three-match losing streak. The Bears last fell to UNF in a close match 3-4. UCA has posted a 3-2 record at home and are currently 4-3 in conference play.
The Series
Thursday's match between Kennesaw State and North Alabama will be the second meeting between the two programs. KSU has the lone win in the series, last defeating UNA 4-3 during the 2019 season.
Saturday's match between Kennesaw State and Central Arkansas will be the first meeting between the two teams.
The Last Time Out
Kennesaw State defended home court last weekend defeating Jacksonville State and Lipscomb. On Friday, the Owls defeated JSU 6-1. KSU had a successful Senior Day match against Lipscomb, winning 5-2 on Sunday afternoon. With the wins, the Owls move to 3-4 in conference play.
Next Up
KSU will begin its quest towards the ASUN conference championship in Fort Meyers, Fla. The championships are set to begin Apr. 22 and conclude on Apr. 24 at the FGCU Tennis Complex.
