KENNESAW, Ga. – After two ASUN Conference wins last weekend, Kennesaw State's
Kat Muzik has been named the Women's Tennis ASUN Player of the Week. The honor marks the first player of the week award of Muzik's KSU career and is the second for the Owls on the season.
Muzik went 2-0 in both doubles and singles against Jacksonville State and Lipscomb. In doubles, the grad transfer picked up wins with partner
Taylor Dean by scores of 6-3 and 6-1. The doubles win against Lipscomb was the clincher for the Owls.
In singles action, Muzik secured two wins with both matches going two sets. She currently holds a 10-5 record from court one and ranks second on the team in wins.
Muzik and the Owls (13-5) are back in action this Thursday, Apr. 14 at North Alabama. With a win, KSU will secure a berth in the Women's Tennis ASUN Conference tournament.
