KENNESAW, Ga. –Raul Garcia has been named the ASUN Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
 
Garcia went 2-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles against Jacksonville State and Lipscomb over the weekend. In singles, the sophomore downed Thomas Norwood (6-1, 6-3) of JSU and Alex Mesquida (6-3, 6-0) of Lipscomb. Both of his singles victories clinched wins for the Owls. In doubles, he teamed up with Harvey Conway to defeat JSU's Vanja Dobrnjac and Jordi Blanchar 6-4 to clinch the doubles point.

Garcia is second on the team this season with 12 singles wins and has 11 doubles victories.
 
KSU concludes its regular season as it travels to North Alabama for its ASUN season finale on Thursday, April 14. Match time is set for 4 p.m. ET in Florence, Ala., at the UNA Varsity Tennis Courts.
