Rounds One and Two Results | Final Round Live Scoring
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team is in fifth place after the first two rounds of the Wofford Invitational played at the Country Club of Spartanburg on Monday.

"Super excited for the effort today and the strong finish," head coach
Bryant Odom said. "We cleaned up some of the mistakes we made this morning and made a nice charge in the afternoon round. We are making enough birdies to contend at the top if we can stay away from big numbers and unforced errors."

KSU posted rounds of 7-over par 295 and 4-under par 284 for a 36-hole total of 3-over par 579. The Owls score of 4-under par 284 was the lowest of the spring and the third-lowest round of the season on a par-72 course.

Brock Healy paced the Owls through 36 holes. Healy carded rounds of 2-under 70 and 1-under 71 for a total of 3-under par 141. The senior is tied for seventh. Healy carded 19 pars and 10 birdies in his first 36 holes. He played the par-5s at 6-under par on Monday.

Luke Phillips carded rounds of 2-over 74 and 3-under 69 and is tied for 17
th at 1-under par 143. He rolled in 20 pars and nine birdies. He made six birdies during his second round including four on his final nine holes.

Lucas Mota is tied for 33
rd after rounds of 3-over 75 and 1-under 71 at 2-over par 146. Mota eagled the par-5 15
th hole during the opening round. The junior played his final seven holes at 2-under par.

Justin Kim (76-73) is tied for 55
th at 5-over par 149. Kim also eagled the par-5 15
th hole on Monday.

Joseph Byrne (161) is in 92
nd place.

The Owls will play the final round of the Wofford Invitational on Tuesday, April 12. KSU will tee off with Mercer and USC-Aiken from 8:54-9:30 a.m.
