Final Results

OPELIKA, Ala. –
The Kennesaw State men's golf team finished play at the Tiger Invitational at Grand National Lake Course on Monday.

The Owls finished rounds two and three today. KSU carded a pair of 17-over par rounds of 305 in the final two rounds to finish 16th at 43-over par 907.

"I was proud of the improvement from our last event but we have to get healthy," head coach Bryant Odom said. "We had to play with only four guys in the final round because Takafumi had to withdraw with an injury and that's always a difficult situation. We have 12 days to prepare for our next event and continue to get healthy."

Luke Phillips was the Owls top finisher in the event. Phillips carded a 4-under par 68 in round two and a 3-over par 75 in round three to finish tied for 34th at 4-over par 220. His round of 68 and total score of 220 were his lowest on a par-72 course in his collegiate career.

Brock Healy posted rounds of 1-over par 73 and 4-over par 76 to finish tied for 62nd at 8-over par 224.

Lucas Mota tied for 71st at 12-over par 228. After struggling in his second round, Mota bounced back and fired the Owls lowest score in round three of 1-over par 73.

Justin Kim (236) took home a tie for 83rd.

KSU will tri-host the Linger Longer Invitational with Mercer and UGA at the Great Waters Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee March 20-22.
