KENNESAW, Ga. –Brock Healy was named ASUN Men's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced on Thursday.
"We're proud of Brock for winning his second Golfer of the Week award this season," assistant coach Nick Mackay said. "He played very solid last week in against a strong field. We are looking forward to seeing what he can do the rest of the Spring."
Healy was the Owls top finisher in one of the strongest fields throughout collegiate golf at the Linger Longer Invitational. The senior finished tied for 30th with rounds of 75-71-72 for a 2-over par total of 218. He beat players in the event from No. 6 Vanderbilt, No. 22 Clemson, Alabama and No. 40 Virginia. The Norcross, Ga. native beat three nationally-ranked players, two of which are ranked in the top 32 by Golfstat.
KSU heads to Franklin, Tenn. to play in the Mason Rudolph Championship hosted by Vanderbilt on Friday, April 1 through Sunday, April 3.
