Eatonton, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team concluded play at the Linger Longer Invitational at Great Waters Golf Club at Reynolds Lake Oconee on Monday.
The Owls finished 15
th at 53-over 305.
"I am proud of Brock this week," head coach
Bryant Odom said. "He had a solid finish in the strongest field we have played in all year. Justin continues to fight hard. He put together two very nice rounds when we needed them. Brady did more than anybody could ask. He attempted to play today but was unable to finish due to an injury. The fact remains we barely have enough healthy guys to compete right now."
Brock Healy led the Owls on Monday with an even-par 72. He finished tied for 30
th at 2-over par 218. He finished with 34 pars and 10 birdies in the event.
Justin Kim carded a 2-over par 74 and finished tied for 57
th at 8-over par 226. He rolled in 11 pars during his final round.
Luke Phillips posted a 78 and took home a tie for 68
th at 14-over par 230.
Lucas Mota (243) finished 86
th.
KSU will head to Franklin, Tenn. to play in the Mason Rudolph Championship hosted by Vanderbilt on April 1-3.
