Kennesaw State Falls in Morehead State Series Finale

BOX SCORE

KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State baseball team fell to Morehead State 17-5 in the series finale on Sunday in Stillwell Stadium.

The Owls got off to a good start with a 1-0 lead, with first baseman Brayden Eidson sending Zac Corbin home with a bloop single to center field.
 
After the Eagles scored six unanswered runs, the black and gold tacked on another run with a Josh Hatcher down the left-field line.
 
Down 12-2 in the seventh, KSU bats began to rally back with a three-run inning; Cash Young started it off with a single up the middle to score Josh Hatcher.
 
Eidson would come through again by singling to right-center field, scoring two runs.
 
Morehead State would close the series with its lone win of the set, closing the meeting with a 17-5 victory.
