Owls Set to Play in Georgia Southern Shootout This Weekend

KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team continues its fall schedule this weekend at the Georgia Southern Shootout. Play begins Friday morning and runs through Sunday.
 
Players from seven universities will compete this weekend at the Wallis Tennis Center.

Taylor DeanSofia Pinedo, Ji Youn Lee, Sophia Unger and Amulika Gottiparthy will compete for KSU in singles and doubles.
 
Ins and Outs of Fall Season
Fall tennis consists of individual tournaments, while the team matches occur only in the spring. The Owls will compete in several individual tournaments this fall, including the Georgia Southern Fall Shootout, ITA Southeast Regionals and the Mercer Gridiron Classic

The Field
This year's tournament includes student-athletes from the following schools: Georgia Southern, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Mercer, Troy, Georgia State, Emory and Chattanooga


Tournament Format
Hidden dual format with singles and doubles competition against numerous opponents throughout the weekend.

Next Up
Following this weekend, the Owls are back on the court at the at the ITA Southeast Championships in Atlanta, Ga. on Oct. 13-16.
