Final Results

MACON, Ga. –
The Kennesaw State men's and women's teams finished up the fall tournament season at the Mercer Gridiron Classic.

Quotable
Matt Emery
On the men's team …
"This was a really good tournament to finish up our fall schedule strong. Anthony Weingarten had a breakout weekend for a freshman winning his first title as an Owl."

On the women's team…
"The women were a joy watch this weekend. We are only a few years removed from hardly winning sets at this event so to come out of this weekend with three titles and a final just speaks to how hard these women have worked and how far they've come and how hungry they are to really elevate this program to the next level in the spring."

Women's Recap

Ji Youn Lee and Taylor Dean went 4-0 and picked up a 7-5 win over a pair from Troy to win Flight A.

Sophia Pinedo and Sofia Unger bounced back from an early loss and secured three wins to win the backdraw in Flight A.

Youn Lee won four matches and secured the Flight A victory. On Sunday, she picked up a 6-2, 6-1 victory over an opponent from Florida Southern.
