Race Preview
The Kennesaw State cross country teams travel to Huntsville, Ala. for the ASUN Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29.
 
The KSU men and women both competed at the Arturo Barrios Invitational on Oct. 15. The women finished sixth while the men grabbed 25^th.
 
The field for Saturday's races includes Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville (women only), Jacksonville State (women only) Liberty, Lipscomb and North Florida.
 
The women's 5k race is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. ET. The men's 8k race is set to get underway at 9:45 a.m. ET.
 
The men's team will be looking to claim their third ASUN crown and first since 2010. The women's team will be looking to win their second ASUN title and first since 2005.
 
KSU Team Notes
- The women's team was ranked No.10 in the 2022 NCAA DI Women's Cross Country South Regional Rankings which were released by the USTFCCCA on Monday, Oct. 17.
 
- Caroline Timm (17:00.9) has the top 5k time for the women. Gavin Frick (24:55.1) carries the top time for the men in the 8k this season.
 
-  Caroline Timm and Grant Crabtree were the Owls' top finishers at the Arturo Barrios Invitational.
 
Next Up
The Owls will head to Huntsville, Ala for the NCAA Southeast Regionals on Friday, Nov. 11.
