Quotable
Grant Crabtree
"The race went decently well for the team today. A couple of guys stepped up and ran well today which helped. In the grand scheme of things, this was just another workout to help us be where we want to be at conference and regionals."
Caroline Timm
"My goal today was to place top ten so I'm really happy with the result. I felt more calm and in control compared to previous races which certainly helped me close stronger. It's nice to know all the hard work we've been putting in this season is really paying off."
On the women's team…
"The 6k was a new challenge for the team but we handled it well. We fought hard out there in the Texas heat and finished in the top six among some big schools which is something to be proud of."
Cale McDaniel
"It was a lot of fun to get to travel with the XC team and see them all grow and compete! Coach Bray continues to create a great environment for our young people, and they continue to make us proud! I'm really enjoying watching the growth of this team and I can't say enough about their ability to compete."
