CLEMSON, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field teams opened competition at the Bob Pollock Invitational on Friday.
 
Men's Top Performances

• Lamar Gordon landed a career-best toss of 18.81m (61'8.50") and Zachary Peterson recorded a mark of 18.16m (59'7") to finish fifth and seventh in the weight throw.
• Mekhi Williams (4:13.62), Gavin Frick (4:18.08), Cameron Paulk (4:18.64) and Jack Stansell (4:23.36) took eighth, 13^th, 16^th and 23^rd in the mile run.
• Sparticus Griffin ran an indoor career-best time of 48.42 seconds to take 12^th in the 400m.

Women's Top Performances

• Kali Terza landed a career-best toss of 18.70m (61'4.25") to finish third among collegiates in the weight throw.
• That throw ranks first in the ASUN this season.
• Jada Smith cleared 3.66m (12'0) and Chloe Tilton got over the bar at 3.36m (11'0.25") to finish eighth and 17th in the pole vault.
• Faith Bobak (18:09.23), Taylor White (18:30.43) and Rachel Dodsworth (18:58.73) finished fourth, fifth and eighth in the 5k.
• Natalie Cummings ran 5:02.52 to take 14^th in the mile run.
• Corbin McLean (8.73 seconds) and Olivia Brown (8.75 seconds) finished 17^th and 19^th in the 60m hurdles.
