NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Kennesaw State's men's and women's cross country teams earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division I All-Academic Team honors, the association announced on Thursday.

"I am very proud of both our men's and women's teams for their continued hard work in the classroom," head coach Adam Bray said. "They are tremendously motivated individuals on the cross country course and in the classroom. This honor is well deserved and most certainly is the standard of excellence we are striving for here at Kennesaw State."

The women's team finished with a combined 3.12 GPA while the men's team secured a 3.07 GPA in the classroom last semester.

To qualify for the All-Academic award, the team must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 as a team.
 
Both teams recorded their best finishes at the NCAA South Regionals as the women finished 14th while the men took 19th.
