ELON, N.C. – Four members of the Kennesaw State women's team wrapped up at action at the Elon Fall Invitational over the weekend.
The women combined to go 9-3 in singles and 4-2 in doubles in the two-day tournament.
"We have been looking forward to getting this team back out there in fall competition," assistant coach
Kirsten Lewis said. "They have been working really hard. It was nice to see what we are doing well under pressure and the areas we need to improve. I was very proud with how each player represented Kennesaw State and took pride in setting a high standard for the team this fall. We were one match short of a perfect day on Friday, which I believe is a first for our program. We competed well, handled adversity and fought through some tough matches. We are all excited to get back to work and be ready for the next one."
