Round Two Results | Final Round Live Scoring
PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team recoded a 6-under par 282 move into ninth place after round two of the Golfweek Fall Intercollegiate at True Blue Golf Club.
"The guys responded very well to their putting work following the first round and were able to capitalize on some continued ball striking," head coach
Bryant Odom said. "21 birdies today is a big improvement over the 12 from yesterday. We still need to clean up some unforced errors and maintain our momentum. If we can keep the rounds going we are capable of a really low team round."
Senior
Brock Healy posted a 5-under par 67 with eight birdies and seven pars. Healy shot a 5-under par 32 over his final nine holes. He is in sixth at 8-under par 136 and also tied for the lead in the field with 14 birdies.
Takafumi Shimoji birdied two of his final five holes and carded a 3-under par 69. He is tied for 30
th at even-par 144.
Lucas Mota is tied for 52
nd at 3-over par 147. The senior shot a 1-under par 71 on Sunday.
Luke Phillips closed his round of 3-over par 75 with a birdie. He is tied for 56
th at 4-over par 148.
Joseph Byrne is tied for 74
th at 7-over par 151. He fired a 3-over 75 on Monday. Byrne has rolled in 29 pars through two rounds in his KSU debut.
The Owls will be paired with Drexel and Cal Baptist in the final round on Tuesday, September 14.
