EUGENE, Ore. – Paris Williams competed on Friday at the U.S. Olympic Trials at Hayward Field.
Â
Williams finished 19th in the first round of the 110m hurdles in a collegiate-best time of 13.69 seconds. That time established a new school record. The senior won seven gold medals at the ASUN Championships and holds three school records in his collegiate career.
Â
"I could not be prouder of how Paris competed today," Assistant Coach
Rachael Coelho said. "He had a few injuries this outdoor season but he never wavered from his goals and competing here today was one of them. He has done a tremendous job representing our program and will now leave holding three school records. He will definitely be missed next year."
Â
Former Owl Jordan Gray will compete in the heptathlon on Saturday and Sunday, June 26-27.
