EUGENE, Ore. –
Paris Williams competed on Friday at the U.S. Olympic Trials at Hayward Field.

Williams finished 19th in the first round of the 110m hurdles in a collegiate-best time of 13.69 seconds. That time established a new school record. The senior won seven gold medals at the ASUN Championships and holds three school records in his collegiate career.

"I could not be prouder of how Paris competed today," Assistant Coach Rachael Coelho said. "He had a few injuries this outdoor season but he never wavered from his goals and competing here today was one of them. He has done a tremendous job representing our program and will now leave holding three school records. He will definitely be missed next year."

Former Owl Jordan Gray will compete in the heptathlon on Saturday and Sunday, June 26-27.
