KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State Department of Athletics will have 87 current and former student-athletes graduating this spring or summer with 67 walking across the stage this week during KSU's commencement ceremonies.
"We are thrilled and feel a strong sense of pride for this great group of student-athletes who have worked so hard in the classroom to accomplish their goals, especially against the difficulties presented by the pandemic," said Director of Athletics Milton Overton. "Our mission as a department is to build champions on the field, in the classroom, in the community and in life, and graduating young men and women is at the center of what we strive to do daily. This is a group of truly outstanding student-athletes and we know they will represent Kennesaw State well as leave The Nest and enter our communities.
"I have been impressed and commend the leadership of this incredible group of graduates, including the efforts by student-athletes and KSU Student Government Association President Tariq Bradford and Vice President Jessica Watkins. This is truly a class that stands out in KSU history and amongst college athletics."
