On the women's teams' performance at the NCAA East Preliminary Championships…
"The women that represented KSU this week did not disappoint. We had a great performance by a true freshman in Jasmine Akins to cap off a fantastic season by her in the jumps. The three women from the distance group battled and showed what kind of competitors they are. To say Lindsay Billings and Makenzie Zeh will be missed is an understatement. They both certainly left their marks on this program."

On Sarah Hendrick…
"Congrats to Sarah Hendrick and Coach Bray on punching her ticket to Eugene. The girl is on fire on the track and continues to represent our program and Kennesaw State at such a high level."

Hendrick and Jack Rhea have qualified to compete at the NCAA Track and Field Championships June 9-12 in Eugene, Oregon.
