JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Kennesaw State baseball team finished their season early Friday afternoon with a 6-0 loss to Liberty in North Florida's Harmon Stadium, eliminating the Owls from the ASUN Championship Tournament.
The Flames (38-13, 19-2) were able to keep KSU (29-22, 13-8) out of dangerous scoring positions on the basepaths, preventing any Owl from crossing home plate.
Veteran outfielder
Terence Norman almost changed the game with a high and deep drive to right field in the seventh inning, but the blast drifted foul by a miniscule distance from the foul pole.
Reliever
Andrew Grogan was able to keep his team in the game in his 1.2 innings of work, allowing a solitary hit amongst the six batters he faced.
Kennesaw State ends a successful 2021 for the program, wrapping up their schedule with a 29-22 record; the Owls' 29 wins mark the team's winningest season since 2016.Â
