STARTING BLOCKS
The Kennesaw State women's track and field team travels back to Jacksonville, Florida to compete in the ASUN Outdoor Championship on Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15.
KSU is in search of third conference title. The Owls won the title in 2017 and 2018.
The two-day meet begins on Friday at 9 a.m.
THE COMPETITION
The Owls will compete against Bellarmine, Jacksonville, North Florida, Lipscomb and Liberty.
LAST TEAM OUTDOOR MEET
The KSU track and field teams competed at the UNF Invite. The Owls won one event and set two school records.
NEXT UP
The NCAA Championships East Preliminaries will take place Wednesday, May 26 through Saturday, May 29 at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. For each individual event contested at each of the Preliminary Round sites, the top 48 declared student-athletes based on TFRRS rankings will be accepted into the competition. For each relay event, the top 24 declared relay teams will be accepted into the competition.

Jayla Mobley could become the first woman to win the 400m and 400m hurdles since 2007.
» A win in the 800m by
Sarah Hendrick would give her the gold medal at both the indoor and outdoor championships this season.
»The Owls have won the high jump five consecutive times and long jump four straight times at the ASUN Outdoor Championships.
» KSU has collected three straight gold medals in the pole vault and two straight titles in the discus.

Sarah Hendrick has won all four of her races this outdoor season with two in the 800m and two more in the 1500m.
