BATON ROUGE, La. – Poor course conditions and extreme weather forced play at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional to be postponed at The University Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Play is set to begin with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. EST on Wednesday. Decisions regarding the number of holes and number of rounds that can be completed on Wednesday are still to be determined.
The top six seeds in the 18-team field would automatically advance to the NCAA Championships (May 21-26) in Scottsdale, Ariz., if the regional is unable to be played. Kennesaw State is the No. 15 seed in the Baton Rouge Regional.
