MACON, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's golf team is in third place after 36 holes at the Brickyard Collegiate at Brickyard Golf Club.
KSU recorded a 29-over par 605 after two rounds of play. The Owls posted a 16-over par 304 in the opening round and a 13-over par 301 in the second round. No. 26 UCF leads the field of 14 teams at 17-over par 593. As a team, the Owls lead the tournament in birdies carding 23 over the first 36 holes.
Tai Anudit posted a 1-under par 71 in round one and a 2-over par 74 in round two. Anudit is in fourth place at 1-over par 145. She made eight birdies and 21 pars and leads for the Owls after 36 holes.
Alizee Vidal posted a 2-over par 74 in round one and an even-par 72 in round two. Vidal is tied for 11th at 7-over par 151. Vidal carded eight birdies and 17 pars.
Bella Kil is tied for 21
st at 10-over par 154. Kil recorded a 4-over par 76 in round one and a 6-over par 78 in round two. Kil collected four birdies and 19 pars over two rounds of play.
Tori Owens is tied for 26
th at 11-over par 155, while
Meva Schmit is tied for 71
st at 24-over par 168.
Competing as an individual,
Caitlyn Campbell-Nyman carded a 9-over par 81 in rounds one and two and is tied for 57
th at 18-over par 162 after 36 holes.
KSU will tee off in the final round of the Brickyard Collegiate between 9:48-10:33 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6.
