JACKSONVILLE, Fla. āĀ The Kennesaw State men's tennis collected a 5-2 win over North Florida on Saturday at the UNF Tennis Complex.

Matt Emery said. "We are excited to get back to work this week, keep getting better and play a very good Stetson team next weekend."

Ā KSU won five singles matches to seal the victory. The win was the Owls first over UNF in program history.

The Ospreys grabbed the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead with victories on courts two and three.
Ā
KSU would win the first singles matches to clinch the win.
Kevin Patel tied the match defeating Patrick Kotan 6-2, 6-2 on court four.
Harvey Conway downed Joe Ellis in a pair of sets 7-5, 6-3 on court six.
Gaston Muhammad pushed the Owls lead to 3-1 downing Rodrigo Crespo 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5) on court five.
Sergio Ingles dropped his opening set but was able to rebound and defeat Matt Carroll 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 to clinch the win for the Owls on court three.
Raul Garcia also needed three sets but defeated Nilo Duarte 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 on court two.

The Owls will host Stetson on Saturday, April 3 on the Betty Siegel Courts. Ā
