JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Kennesaw track and field teams competed at the UNF Invite on Thursday at Hodges Stadium.
 
Event Wins

• Jack Rhea won the pole vault clearing 5.25m (17'2.75"). That mark ranks second in program history and is 12th in the NCAA East Region this season. 

 
 Men's Top Performances

• Tyler Blalock finished third in the shot put with a toss of 18.79m (61'7.75").
• Stephen Smith cleared 4.75m (15'7") to take fifth in the pole vault.
• Juan Cavazos II and Sultan Simms both cleared 2.05m (6'8.75") in the high jump. Cavazos tied for second while Simms finished fifth based on attempts.
• Gavin Frick (14:50.61), Henry Plowden (14:56.56) and Mekhi Williams (14:58.00) all ran personal-best times in the 5000m finishing 14^th, 19^th and 20^th.

 
Women's Top Performances

• Makenzie Zeh ran 4:23.12 to finish 10th in the 1500m.
• Mollie Speights cleared 1.70m (5'7") in the high jump to finish eighth.
• Kywana Donahoo landed a personal-best mark of 5.86m (19'2.75") in the long jump to finish seventh.
• Nyah Hernandez (16:56.84), Faith Bobak (17:40.75), Zoe Smith (17:56.78) posted personal-best times finishing seventh, 13^th and 17th in the 5000m.

 
 The Owls will finish action at the UNF Invite on Friday, April 30.
