Clark Wood Open Final Results | Drake Relays Final Results

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Kennesaw track and field teams finished competition at the Clark Wood Open and the Drake Relays (Des Moines, Iowa)
 
Event Wins

• Sarah Hendrick won the 800m at the Drake Relays with a time of 2:03.62.

 
Men's Top Performances

• The Owls 4x100m relay team of Jordan Hewing, Omar Diaz, Aaron Goodwin and Tyriq Hussie finished second in a time of 41.15 seconds.
• Sparticus Griffin (49.39 seconds), Malik Hussie (49.83 seconds) and Cameron Johnson (50.66 seconds) took home fifth, seventh and 10^th in the 400m.
• The 4x400m relay team of Malik Hussie, Omar Diaz, Tyriq Hussie and Sparticus Griffin finished second in 3:19.16.  

 
Women's Top Performances

• Jayla Mobley finished third in the 400m with a time of 55.54 seconds.
• Olivia Brown ran a time of 14.08 seconds to finish sixth in the 100m hurdles at the Drake Relays.
• Rachel Van Amburgh secured seventh in the 800m with a time of 2:03.62 at Drake Relays.

"The kids did a great job competing all weekend at both Drake and Louisville. The weather was a bit crazy but I believe we still got a lot accomplished. Congrats to Sarah on adding to her strong resume this season with a win at Drake Relays. A big shout out to Makenzie Zeh and Lindsay Billings on some big personal-best performances at Drake. Tyler Blalock's throw in the shot put was incredible yesterday. I am excited to go down to North Florida this week and get some good weather and hit this final tune up before championship season begins."
 
Next Up
The Owls will travel to Jacksonville, Florida to compete in the North Florida Invitational on Thursday, April 29 and Friday April 30.
