JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team fell 4-1 in the ASUN Semifinals to No.48 Liberty at the UNF Tennis Complex Friday morning.  
 
"I was proud of our fight today," Director of Tennis Matt Emery said. "If we play this match ten times, I think it is 5-5. Liberty was just a little better than us today."
 
Liberty won the doubles point and three singles matches to secure the victory.
 
The Flames won the doubles point picking up a pair of victories on courts two and three.
 
Liberty pushed their lead to 2-0 with a victory on court six to open singles. Sergio Ingles collected a 6-4, 6-3 win over Josh Wilson on court three to cut the lead 2-1. The Flames would seal the win with victories on courts four and two. KSU got a strong effort from fifth year Sebastian Osorio who was tied at a set a piece with Nicaise Muamaba when the match was called.
 
"I also want to thank Sebastian Osorio for his leadership this season and coming back for his fifth year." Emery said. "Our program is much better because of him and his impact will be felt long after he leaves."
 
The Owls will return to action in the fall of 2021.
