On Sarah Hendrick and Tyler Blalock …
"Sarah Hendrick is like a woman on fire. She is one of the nation's best and now she will get a trip to the Olympic trials this summer. Tyler Blalock took another huge step forward setting the school record and winning the shot put."

On the team's performance at the Crimson Tide Invitational…
"This team continues to grow and develop right in front of our eyes and there is so much more in the tank. Countless personal-best performances and four more school records is a testament to their hard work and this fantastic staff we have. It's a great time to be an Owl and I am a very proud coach."
