Match Preview
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team hit the road for two consecutive ASUN Conference matches against FGCU and North Florida before returning home to host UAB for senior day. The Owls play the Eagles on Friday, April 2 at 10 a.m. for a neutral site match at the UNF Tennis Complex, followed by a match against the Ospreys on Saturday, April 3 at 10 a.m. Senior Brenna Reilly will be honored prior to the match against UAB on Monday, April 5 at 12 p.m.

Scouting FGCU
The Eagles are 4-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play. Ida Ferding leads FGCU in singles with a 5-3 record playing primarily on courts four and five.

Scouting North Florida
The Ospreys are 10-7 overall and 3-0 in conference play. UNF leads the ASUN Conference in the southern division. Catherine Gulihur and Ana Paula Melilo lead for the Ospreys in doubles with a record of 12-2 on court one.

Scouting UAB
The Blazers are 10-6 overall and 2-1 in conference play. Sydney Clark leads UAB in singles with a 14-6 record playing primarily on courts four and five.

The Series
Friday's match between KSU and FGCU marks the seventh meeting between the two programs. The Eagles defeated the Owls 4-3 in Orlando, Fla., earlier this season. Saturdays match between KSU and UNF marks the 13th meeting between the two programs. The Owls fell to the Ospreys 7-0 on March 29 on the Betty Siegel Courts. Monday's match between KSU and UAB marks the 10th meeting between the two programs. The Blazers lead the series 9-0. UAB defeated KSU 6-1 in Kennesaw, Ga., in February 2019.

The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 setback against North Florida Monday on the Betty Siegel Courts.

The Ospreys won the doubles point and six singles matches to secure the victory.

In doubles, Sofia Pinedo and Soomin Kim were leading their match 5-3 on court three when UNF clinched the point.

In singles, Pinedo was pushed to three sets before falling to Summer Yardley in a third-set tie breaker 5-7, 6-2, 10-4 on court five.

The Owls will host Stetson in the regular-season finale on Saturday, April 10 at 11 a.m.
