KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team won the doubles point and three singles matches to defeat Gardner-Webb 4-0 on the Betty Siegel Courts on Friday.
"The guys just took care of business today," Director of Tennis
Matt Emery said. "We did a good job of executing and closing out the doubles point. Then we jumped on them in singles winning six first sets. I thought we maybe took our foot off the gas just a little near the end but we regrouped and closed it out."
In doubles,
Raul Garcia and
Harvey Conway downed Breno Plentz and Stefano Puga 6-4 on court two. Moments later KSU would clinch the doubles point as
Sebastian Osorio and
