Match Preview
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team is set to host Jacksonville State for its home opener on Sunday, February 7 at 11 a.m.
 
The Owls will be looking to win their fourth home opener in the last five seasons.
 
KSU is 6-6 in home openers in program history. 
 
Match Attendance
Due to COVID-19 protocols, attendance will be capped at 60 fans for this season.
 
Mask Up!
Fans are required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth during the duration of their time at the Betty Siegel Courts.
 
Scouting Jacksonville State
The Gamecocks are 2-0 on the young season. They have collected a pair of 6-1 wins over Jackson State and Auburn-Montgomery.
 
The Series
Sunday's meeting will be the 11^th between the two programs. KSU leads the series 7-3 and has won six consecutive matches in the series. The Owls collected a 5-2 win at Jacksonville State on March 12, 2020.
 
The Last Time Out
The Owls dropped a pair of matches by a score of 7-0 at Georgia Tech on Thursday, January 28. KSU got strong efforts from Raul Garcia and Gaston Muhammad in singles. Garcia and Daniel Botti both made their KSU debuts during the opening match vs the Yellow Jackets.
 
Next Up
The Owls will host Mercer on the Betty Siegel Courts on Saturday, February 13 at 4 p.m.
