Garcia Guides Owls in Loss at Furman

GREENVILLE, SC. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team won two doubles matches and one singles matches but it was not enough to get past Furman on Sunday at the Mickel Tennis Center.
 
The Paladins won five singles matches to grab a 5-2 win.
 
The Owls won the doubles point for the second consecutive match. Kevin Patel and Sebastian downed Emil Westling and Drew Singerman 6-2 on court three. KSU would clinch the point on court when Harvey Conway and Raul Garcia defeated Ivan Mitric and James Roelofse 7-6 (7-5).
 
Raul Garcia collected the Owls lone win in singles in straight sets over Henrik Atlevi 6-1, 6-2 on court three. Sebastian Osorio, Seru Tezuka and Harvey Conway all pushed their matches to three sets before falling.
 
KSU returns home to face Old Dominion on Thursday, March 4 at 1 p.m. on the Betty Siegel Courts.
