PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's team fell 4-0 to Georgia State at the Peachtree City Tennis Center on Friday.
"Congrats to Georgia State on playing well indoors," Director of Tennis
Matt Emery said. "They have good players and played strong indoor tennis."
The Panthers won the doubles point and three singles matches to clinch the victory.
In doubles,
Raul Garcia and
Gaston Muhammad fell 6-4 in a highly contested battle on court two.
Sergio Ingles won his first set and was leading Andrei Duarte in the second set when the match was clinched.
Raul Garcia lost a first-set tiebreaker to Roberts Grinvalds and was ahead in the second set when it was called.
Harvey Conway fought hard but fell in straight sets on court four.
The Owls will play at Elon on Saturday, February 27 at 2 p.m. at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
