Match Preview
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team returns to action with three consecutive road matches this week. The Owls will play at Georgia State on Friday, February 26 at 11 a.m. KSU will then head to Elon, North Carolina to face Elon on Saturday, February 27 at 11 a.m. They will conclude the road trip playing at Furman on Sunday, February 28 at 1 p.m.

KSU will be playing Georgia State for the fifth time in program history. This will be the first time the Owls have played Elon and Furman.

Scouting Georgia State
The Panthers are 1-3 this season. They lost to Charlotte, Liberty and Georgia Tech but were victorious against Mercer.

Scouting Elon
The Phoenix are 5-1 on the season. The Phoenix dropped their season opener at Liberty but have since won five consecutive matches.

Scouting Furman
The Paladins are 3-3 this season. Henrik Atlevi leads the Paladins in singles with a 4-1 record on court three.

The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State men's tennis battled to the end but came up on the short end of a 4-3 loss at Coastal Carolina at the Lynn Stevens Tennis Complex on Sunday, February 21.
The Chanticleers won the doubles point and three singles matches to take home the win.
The Owls opened doubles with a win on court one as
Sergio Ingles and
Sebastian Osorio def. Bastien Huon and Pyry Hyrkkonen 6-1. CCU answered winning on court two and a tight match on court three to take the doubles point.
Gaston Muhammad tied the match at 1-1 after he defeated Neil O'Connor in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.
Raul Garcia gave the Owls the lead as the freshman downed Diego Giraldo 6-3, 6-3, on court three. The Chanticleers then won a pair of matches to take a 3-2 lead.
Sergio Ingles beat Pyry Hyrkkonen 6-3, 6-4 and tied the match at three. The Chanticleers were able to pick up a three-set win on court one to seal the win.

Next Up
The Owls return home to face Old Dominion on Thursday, March 4 at 1 p.m. on the Betty Siegel Courts.
