Owls Finish Seventh at Pinnacle Bank Intercollegiate at Palmetto Hall

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. –
The Kennesaw State men's golf team finished seventh at the Pinnacle Bank Intercollegiate at Palmetto Hall on the Arthur Hills Course at Palmetto Hall Golf and Country Club on Tuesday.
 
"This weekend was not the team result we wanted but we have a lot of positives going into the heart of the spring season," head coach Bryant Odom said. "Preston gained some valuable experience leading into the final round and Brady improved each day for another top-5 finish. Brock also came back from a tough first round and made a huge impact with his scores in rounds two and three. We will have a short break before the next event but these guys are eager for another shot at contention."
 
The Owls posted a 7-over par round of 295 to finish at 23-over par 887 for the event.  
 
Brady Keran carded the Owls low round of the day with a 3-under par 69 to finish fourth at 1-under par 215 for the event. He made 11 pars and five birdies during the final round. He ended the three-round event with 10 birdies and 36 pars.
 
Preston Topper recorded a 7-over par 79 and finished tied for 11th at 3-over par 219.
 
Brock Healy finished tied for 25th at 7-over par 223. The junior recorded a 2-under par 70. He played his final six holes of the event at 2-under par.
 
Justin Kim shot a 5-over par 77 and finished 63rd at 16-over par 232.
 
Conner Rostowsky took home a tie for 74th at 24-over par 240.
 
The Owls will head to St. Simons Island, Ga. to play in Sea Palms Invitational hosted by Western Carolina at Sea Palms Golf Club on March 4-6.
