KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State baseball head coach Ryan Coe and his staff are proud to officially announce their inaugural signing class.
Despite a late start to recruiting after being named the new head coach in July, Coe immediately put his staff into place in the form of former Owl and Texas Rangers scout Derrick Tucker and Miami University of Ohio pitching coach Matt Passauer.
The three immediately put a focus on building for the future and built an impressive class recognized by Perfect Game as the 57th-ranked class in the country out of 302 Division I baseball teams.
"Recruiting and development of our student-athletes will always be a major priority of this program as we build a championship team here at Kennesaw State," said Coe. "Coach Tucker and Coach Passauer have had a major impact on the future of this program with all their hard work in this first class. We have added a group of high-upside, talented individuals that we believe could add to the deep history of MLB prospects to come out of KSU. Outside of talent, we focused on adding hard-working, competitive kids that have a history of success both on and off the field. We have enjoyed the process and getting to know the players and their families and can't wait to get them on campus."
The 2022 signing class will be announced individually over the next few weeks. Please follow us @KSUOwlsBaseball on Twitter and Instagram to meet all the new Owls.
