KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team continues its fall schedule this weekend at the Georgia Southern Shootout. Play begins Saturday morning and runs through Sunday.
 
Players from 11 universities will compete this weekend at the Wallis Tennis Center.
Taylor Dean, 
Sofia Pinedo, Valentina Taddia, Soomin Kim, Melody Cantrell and Amulika Gottiparthy will compete for KSU in singles and doubles.
 
Ins and Outs of Fall Season
Fall tennis consists of individual tournaments, while the team matches occur only in the spring. The Owls will compete in several individual tournaments this fall, including the Elon Fall Classic, Mercer Invite, Georgia Southern Fall Shootout, ITA Southeast Regionals and the Wofford Invite.

The Field
This year's tournament includes student-athletes from the following schools: Georgia Southern, Jacksonville State, North Florida, Davidson, Emory, Arkansas State, Mercer, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State and Chattanooga.

Doubles - draws of eight teams in compass draw format

Following this weekend, the Owls are back on the court at the at the ITA Southeast Championships in Orlando, Fla. on Oct. 14-17.
