Final Results
LOXLEY, Ala. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of its 2021-22 schedule at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational on Sunday at Steelwood Country Club.
"I am really proud of the fight today," head coach
Bryant Odom said. "The team came out and held their heads high for the last round of the fall. We had some goals for the round that turned our focus back on the process and gave us a fresh start after yesterday's performance. There were a lot of positives from the from the fall for our offseason reflection."
The Owls posted a 3-over par 291 in Sunday's final round and finished 14
th at 37-over par 901.
Brock Healy tied for 32
nd at 1-over par 217. The senior carded a 2-under par 70 with six birdies and eight pars. Healy was the Owls top finisher in four of the Owls five tournaments in the fall.
Lucas Mota and
Ryan Hines tied for 67
th at 12-over par 228. Hines signed for a 72 while Mota carded a 79 in the final round.
Luke Phillips closed the tournament with a 1-over par 73 and finished 75th at 15-over par with a 231.
Joseph Byrne finished 78
th.
The Owls will open the spring portion of 2021-22 schedule at the Coral Creek Club Invitational hosted by FGCU on February 28-29, 2022 in Placida, Fla.
