CLEMSON, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up action at the Clemson Invitational on Saturday.
 
School Record Performances

• Sarah Hendrick ran a time of 2:05.81 to finish second in the 800m.
• Tyler Blalock landed a throw of 18.65m (61'2.25") to win the shot put.

 
Event Wins

• Qwazon Al-Khaliq won the triple jump with a mark of 14.93m (48'11.75").
• Koi Williams secured a victory in the 800m in a time of 1:54.34.

Notable Performances

• Kelvin Campbell grabbed second in the triple jump with a mark of 14.90m (48'10.75").
• Jack Rhea was the top collegiate in the pole vault clearing 4.90m (16'0.75").
• Jasmine Akins landed a jump of 12.00m (39'4.50") and Da'Yona Henry recorded a mark of 11.94m (39'2.25") to take second and third in the triple jump.
• Tiondra Grant had a throw of 12.96m (42'6.25") while Javon Joyner added a toss of 12.82m (42'0.75") to secure third and fourth in the women's shot put.
• Sultan Simms cleared 2.15m (7'0.50") in the high jump to finish third.
• Freshman Kameron Jackson ran a time of 1:56.56 to finish runner-up in the 800m.
• Malik Hussie crossed the finish line with a time of 21.98 seconds in the 200m to take third place.
• Louise Tocays, Britiney Johnson, Jayla Mobley and Jozalyn Albright record a time of 3:55.45 to finish third in the 4x400m relay.
• The men's 4x400m relay team of Omar Diaz, Keishon Franklin, Sparticus Griffin, and Malik Hussie ran a time of 3:13.63 to secure third place.
• Volunteer coach Haley Teel won the shot put with a toss of 17.39m (57'0.75").
