Anudit Named ASUN Player of the Week

3/12/2020 1:26:00 PM

ATLANTA, Ga. – For the first time in her career, Kennesaw State women's golf star Tai Anudit was named Player of the Week by the ASUN Conference.

The junior is coming off an impressive performance at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Hawaii, where she shot six under-par to capture a third place finish.

"I'm very proud of Tai for earning the award this week, it was well deserved," said head coach Rhyll Brinsmead. "She's been working hard on the right things and it all clicked."

Anudit shot 10 birdies in three rounds, and shot only four bogies across all 54 holes.

Her third place finish is the highest placement for any Owl in a tournament since Medy Thavong won the ASUN Championship in April of last year.

Anudit will look to improve on her stellar performance at the Evans Derby Experience in Auburn, Ala., starting on March 27.
