COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field teams finished competition at the South Carolina Invitational on Saturday.
School Record Performances
- Freshman Tanner Duffin set the school record in the shot put landing a toss of 18.33m (60'1.75") to finish fourth.
-  Brenton Rosa and Jack Rhea tied a new school record in the pole vault  as both posted marks of 5.00m (16'4.75") to finish third and fourth.Â

Notable Performances
- Kelvin Campbell took fifth in the long jump invite after he landed a mark of 6.96m (22'10").
- Karl Joeaar landed a leap of 14.86m (48'9") and Tariq Bradford posted a mark of 14.64m (48"0.5) in the triple jump invite.
- Sarah Hendrick ran a time of 2:08.76 to finish second in the 800m.
- Julija Tarvide cleared 1.70m (5'7") to secure second in the high jump invite.
- A leap of 5.80m (19'0.5") earned Khiah Williams third place in the long jump invite.

The teams will go to Birmingham, Ala for the Samford Invite #2 on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 14-15) at the Birmingham Crossplex. Members of the women's distance group will head to Boston, Ma. to compete in the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday (Feb.14).
