The Owls beat ASA Miami 4-3 on Saturday (Feb. 15) for their first win of the season.

The Bulldogs are 6-1 on the season. Ami Grace Dougha leads the Bulldogs with a 6-1 record in singles play from No. 1 and No. 2 position. 
 
The Series
Sunday's match will be the third meeting between the two programs. The Owls are looking to secure their first win against the Bulldogs. UNC Asheville beat the Owls 5-2 on Feb. 20, 2017.

The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team clinched a 4-3 win over ASA Miami for their first win of the season at the Betty Siegel Courts on Saturday (Feb. 15).

The Owls picked up the doubles point over ASA Miami with a 6-1 win by Taylor Dean and Paola Cortez at No. 1 and a 6-2 win by Brenna Reilly and Aspen Jarrett at No. 3.

 Reilly got the Owls going in singles with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Flavia Rodas at No. 6. Jarrett shut down Gwendolen Sior with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 5 to give the Owls a 3-1 lead. Sofia Pinedo clinched the winning point for the Owls in a third set tie breaker 7-6 (7-0) over Saara Kunakunova.

The Owls head to Atlanta to face Georgia State on Friday (Mar. 6) at 11 a.m.
