KENNESAW, Ga. -- The Kennesaw State women's basketball team is set for its final road game of the regular season Monday evening, traveling to North Alabama and looking for a season sweep of the Lions.

Top Storylines
• Kennesaw State faces North Alabama for the fourth time in program history Monday evening as the Owls look to end their two-game skid.

• The Owls and Lions have clinched spots in the upcoming ASUN Tournament as both look to improve seeding in the final week of the regular season.

• Amani Johnson and Breanna Hoover are coming off career-high performances against JU, as Johnson poured in 25 points and Hoover added 18, including four three-pointers. 

• Kennesaw State knocked off UNA earlier this year, using an 18-5 run to end the game and secure a 59-56 victory.

• Monday's matchup features two of the top four offenses in the league, as UNA is second in the ASUN at 78.5 points per game, while KSU is fourth at 68.7.

• Gillian Piccolino is the reigning ASUN Freshman and Newcomer of the Week. She has scored 81 points in her last five games, including the only two 20-point games of her young career. 

• Kennesaw State has taken advantage of its trips to the free-throw line this season. The Owls rank 13th in the country from the line and lead the ASUN at 77.8 percent from the charity stripe.

• Alexis Poole has been incredible so far this season for Kennesaw State. She ranks 25th in the country in field goal percentage, draining 56.3 percent of her shots.

• A trend that continues from last season, Amani Johnson rarely gets taken off the court. This season, she is averaging 38.8 minutes per contest, which ranks fourth in the country. She has played 40 minutes in a game 10 times this year, including all 45 minutes in Saturday's overtime contest.

• During the summer, it was announced that the Owls were ranked No. 20 in the WBCA Academic rankings. The Owls were the sole program in the ASUN to receive the honor as well as the only program in the state of Georgia to be recognized on the list. KSU ended the season with a 3.54 GPA.

• This past fall, the team achieved a GPA of 3.37, as all ten student-athletes were above a 3.0 GPA with four student-athletes on the Dean's list.
 

Noting North Alabama
• North Alabama is coming off back-to-back losses and is looking to avoid its first three-game losing streak of the year.

• The Lions are currently in a three-way tie for second place in the ASUN standings after finishing T-3rd last season in their first year at the Division I level.

• Ivy Wallen leads the Lions at 15.9 points per game. She scored double figures in her first 23 games of the year but has failed to score 10+ points in the last two contests. Wallen leads the ASUN with 8.0 assist per game.

• UNA leads the league in three-point field goal percentage, shooting 35.1 percent from long range.
